The 2025 Lovejoy ISD Bond Package will update or replace major operational systems at all existing campuses and facilities. Some projects, such as LED lighting upgrades and HVAC replacement, will save an estimated $300,000 dollars annually in M&O expenses once the projects are fully implemented. This morning, Superintendent Kordel, three LHS Students and members of our Board of Trustees had the privilege of attending the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce "Eggs and Issues" event. The focus of the event was the upcoming May 3rd elections, highlighting Lovejoy ISD and other local districts, city, and town councils. Our students were actively engaged and eager to learn more about the roles of school board members and local government officials. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to gain firsthand insights into how decisions are made at the community level. TOMORROW Hart and Puster Elementary Schools invite parents and rising kinders to our 2025 Kindergarten Sneak Peek from 5:00 p.m.-6:15 p.m. During the event, students will rotate through activities in kinder classes, while parents receive kindergarten information from campus administrators.

The Bond 2025 facility tour concluded at Lovejoy High School seeing academic, Fine Art, Career and Technology Education (CTE) instructional spaces. We appreciate the time and engagement of our community members throughout the informational tour! A special thank you to our Bus Driver, Kevin, for safely transporting us around the District today!
Community members visit the LISD transportation facility. The proposed bond will replace the existing transportation and maintenance facility with a building specifically designed and equipped to positively impact transportation safety, efficiency, and the overall working environment.
